Hello Everyone,

My boyfriend is receiving a warning message in Windows 10 that is warning him of the voltage and mentions this chip (pictured below, from Open Hardware Monitor)

Can someone explain what this means? He recently installed a CoolerMaster Evo 212 and also moved his case fan from the front of the computer to the top of the computer hoping for better cooling. I have tried searching for solutions but cannot find one that I understand. I appreciate everyone's time.

Thanks

VBat is the voltage of the CMOS coin cell battery. It typically runs between 3.0 to 3.3 v. I would not worry about 3.36 v.

Thanks Y0GI, He thought it might have had something to do with relocating the front fan so he went and bought 3 additional fans.. Right now his CPU is running at about 28C and there is a huge amount of airflow in the tower, but he's still receiving the message

You can put 16 fans in there and it still will not change that voltage.

It is due to slight inaccuracies in the voltage monitoring system of the mobo and its translation by the software reading it.

Don't worry about it!
