I know that I should get a larger psu. I know that it is a bottleneck. It is just for the time being, and I am wondering what the best gpu is that can use a 360w power supply. it is cooler master and has only 1 6 pin connector. I am not wanting to get something new, I am just wondering what gpu would be best for the time being with the psu i have. I also have a i7 3770.

Solution
i'd look into a 950 myself with that psu. it won't use much more power than the 750ti and will still easily run on the 360w. i have a 270 running on a 375w psu (crappy oem one at that) and it draws more power than a 950 will. much better than a 750ti and since you have the 6 pin connector you're all set for the 950 as well :)

the i7 is only a 77w cpu and the 950 at most is 100w so there is plenty of headroom for the 950 to get it's fill as well as the rest of a basic system.

My guess is either;

*Needs a low powered GPU to get by for now - though cost of a *best* low powered GPU would certainly pay for a decent PSU
*2nd system (his or a friend)
or
*sigwish

I'll go for 2nd system being in question and i'll go for the 750ti as well.

I wouldn't. Considering the price possibility on the upcoming black Friday, cyber Monday sales, I don't see a valid reason for 'get by for now'. For what a new 750ti costs 'now' in a short time you could get a decent psu and the 750ti, in preparation for a major upgrade, or have that much time to save some cash and get a decent psu 'and' the major upgrade.

Just my thoughts.

I just used the cooler master power supply calculator, and without a gpu, my reccomended minimum power supply is 203 watts, and I have a 360w, so considering that the reference card only uses 60w of power, my minimum will be 263 watts, so I definetely have more headroom than I thought!

the 750ti is a fine card and worth the money. but since you asked for the best the psu could run, i offered the 950. you can run it though it does cost a bit more than the 750 ti. the performance gain is worth the extra money in my opinion if you can afford it.
