No, processing singals are different from monitor to monitor and Tv to Tv. Compared to monitor and TV, processing singals is much quicker in monitors bar some exceptions which do exist from personal experience. No manufacturer lists signal processing times so is very hard to say if your TV model will be satisfactory if you couldn't try before you buy at store.
Modern TVs do have game mode which bypasses TV's initial effects and colour enhancements which should help bring down input response but signal processing is still a ? information hardly available besides panel gtg measures.
If you were a fussy gamer with input lag worries, i'd avoid TV's wouldn't know the out come. Try before you buy.
