So I just finished building my new Pc, and wanted to install AMD's catalyst for my R9 390. But everytime I try to install I get a message that the installation package failed.

I tried:
* Installing .Net 4.5 (has allready been installed)
* Installing all mobo drivers

add:

* GPU not listed in the device manager
* No Signal when connecting monitor directly to the gpu (via HDMI)

Specs:
Windows 10 Pro
AsRock H170m-ITX/ac
i5-6600

since you are getting no signal check your gpu. remove it and install it again and then check the pcie power connectors. Now connect the HDMI cable to the GPU

now boot and

download DDU and run it to clean driver leftovers

download the latest AMD drivers and install

I did reseat it, but when I did I found these scratches: http://imgur.com/a/JBRfL
Could these be the problem? Is my GPU broke with these scratches?
I am still not getting a signal - GPU is powered, lights are on - fans are not spinning though.

One more thing, I got a 6pin and a 8pin connector on my GPU. I do not need to use both right? see picture: http://imgur.com/T7wCACv

the R9 390 takes its power through one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCIe power connector. So you will have to connect the both the 6 pin and the 8 pin connectors to the gpu to make it work.
