First of all hello everyone. This is my first forum post in any forum ever, so I apologize in advance if I make some kind of mistake. I've never even had a gaming pc. Heck I've never even touched one so I don't want to take chances and build one from scratch. I will be using this mainly for gaming. I want my pc to run smoothly for the next 5-6 years without needing to replace any parts other than the graphics card and monitor (which I plan to replace in about 2.5 years). I've been losing sleep over this lately so I would be very grateful for any kind of input from your part. Consider that I'm a total novice so please don't get too technical. I live in Bangladesh so the currency you see is in Bangladeshi taka, but you don't need to concern yourselves with the currency.

Build 1 : http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Ryans-Game-P-6924
the problem I have with it is that it's a bit too expensive. I mean, I'll only be gaming. I won't need this CPU or the DDR4 within the next 5 years at all, right? Right?

Build 2 : http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Ryans-PC-Desktop-PC-7326 <<< At the time of purchase of Build 2, I'll be asking the vendor to change the CPU to an i7 4790K and the GPU to an Asus Strix 970. I will also buy only one VX229H monitor.

I'm more inclined towards Build 2, as it will cost me less. As a dweller of the third world, I'm afraid I'm on a tight budget. Do you guys think it's gonna last me? I'm concerned with the fact that if I want to upgrade the ram to ddr4 and cpu to something better (skylake?) I'll also have to buy a new motherboard.

So I guess in the end my question boils down to, "Am I gonna need to upgrade from an i7 4790K and ddr3 to ddr4 and a better CPU if all I will be doing is gaming within the next 5 years? Consider that I want to upgrade to 1440p gaming in about 2.5 years, when the monitor prices will drop more and better price : performance graphics card will come out(like Volta, the ones after Pascal.)."

Please don't advice online buying. The shipment costs to Bangladesh are crazy and I don't want to risk building a PC myself anyways.

I've been playing crappy nintendo games all of my life. I'm tired of my Wii. I've been saving up for like, 3 years for this PC and I will buy it in a few weeks. All I wanna do is run demanding games like The Witcher 3 and those that will come out in 2016/2017/2018 on ultra at acceptable( 45+) frame rates. Then I will upgrade my monitor and graphics card. Please help me o knowledgeable people. Sorry for the wall of text and thank you so much in advance.

An i5 with a GTX 970 would be enough, there is no real need for an i7 for gaming.

The CPU is one of the parts of the PC that can last a while before going out of date. i5s from 5 years ago can still run the newest games at max settings when paired with a good graphics card.

Depending on how far into the future you want your PC to run everything at ultra without upgrading, a GTX 970 should be fine for the next 2 years.

A 980 really isn't an option as it costs too much. What do you think about an r9 390x? Do you guys think it's going to be a better option given all those rumors of Direct X 12 supporting AMD better?
