I've never gotten this computer to post at all, not even for a second. I've narrowed it down to the motherboard or cpu. I have it outside the case with only the power, cpu power, and cpu fan connected along with one stick of ram.
My parts are
Asrock Fm2A88x+ BTC
Arctic 64 pro rev. 2 cooler
AMD 860k
Sapphire r7 260x
Hyperx fury 1600 8gb dual channel
Sentey Xplus power 725w (I know...sketchy. but it was given to me brand new and I plan on removing it when I can afford a better one. It does work fine though, I've checked in my other computer.)
1. The only beeps I can get from it happen if I take ram out, then it beeps at me. This is the second set of ram I've bought for it and it still happens so I don't think that's it.
2. I replaced the bios chip with one that has the newer bios for my cpu and still nothing.
3. I've tried three different power supplies so that can't be it either.
4. Everything is connected properly and I've tried reseating the cpu with no luck there.
5. I've cleared the CMOS
What do you guys think?
