I have this set up internet source<--wire-->ethernet hub<---wire--->wireless router<--wire-->desktop pc

I have internet connection with my wifi but the desktop pc connected to it doesn't have internet connection (with the yellow warning sign) any ideas?

I suspect, like many seem to do, you are DOUBLE ROUTING it, creating a second unwanted subnet.

These days the ISP will give you a modem/router combo, it's already doing NAT ad DHCP, then you plug in a WIFI router, and goes through its WAN port, which has the effect of NATing one more time. Don't do that. Hookup WIFI router as an Access Point.

1. Ignore or disable WIFI router WAN port.
2. Hook up uplink CAT5 to any of the WIFI router LAN port.
3. Assign a static IP to the WIFI router.

Everybody should be on the same subnet. Google for subnet definition if unclear.

Why do you have the hub before the router? And does your "internet source" have only 1 ethernet port?
