Hi all, my current build consists of 1 GTX 980 GPU and two VG248QE monitors however I am not enjoying playing shooters or RPGs on a two monitor setup as the divide cuts my character/player/crosshair in half. Therefore I was planning to add another monitor to which means my character will always be centre screen ( I will probably go portrait ).
However adding a third monitor means a lot more power is needed from my gpu and I want to still get as high fps as I can on decently high graphics. So here are my questions for anyone that can help me.
Firstly do you think I will need another 980?(don't mind if I do)
Secondly if I do get a 980 how do I go about connecting it to the monitor, is it all cables from one gpu or 2 from one and one from the other? I don't understand how the power is distributed. Clarification on this would be good.
Thirdly how do you actually sli the cards? (If you can answer first two question I'm fine with that, I can research third myself)
