Hello,
I'm currently running a 6 year old pc, it has served me well till early 2014 but it's time for something hot and new! My brother made me this pc back in the time but he's away with the army atm. So here I am since I have little knowledge of this. Any advise you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: At the end of the year

Budget Range: Around the 1000€ mark

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Mostly gaming and watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: No, I am currently using a samsung plasma hdtv 1080p

Parts to Upgrade: The whole package

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: The only one i know is http://www.microforce.be/ its in dutch though

Location: Melle, Belgium

Parts Preferences: Still doubting between gtx 970 or r9 390

Overclocking: I've already melted a 250$ graphics card before so I'd rather not mess around :p

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

So my goal is to completely get a new pc case and all other parts. I'd like to get atleast 30+fps on the newer games such as DAO inquisition and the witcher 3 (with everything at ultra ofc). I was planning on starting with the graphics card and then build my pc around it. Now I need to know how good my other parts need to be as to not bottleneck this card.

Thanks for the list! I had never imagined I could get a gaming rig to play the new games for this price!

CPU - If you can stretch the budget, the increased base clock and turbo speeds of the i5-4590 are nice to have. Otherwise, stick with the i5-4460.
MEM - H97 is limited to DDR3-1600.
SSD - 120GB is fairly small. Look toward a 250 / 256GB model. Also, the Samsung below is a better performer on a budget than the Kingston.
HD - Less failures with the WD Blue.
GPU - The GTX 970 will consume less power and generate less heat.
