Hi i need help with my desktop. i recently had to reinstall windows on my computer and so i have to set up drivers and everything again. But for some reason my Asus motherboard isn't reading my graphics card. all it says standard VGA graphics adapter.
OS: windows 7 64 bit
graphics card: EVGA GTX 960
Motherboard: M5A97 LE R2.0
PSU: 600w
RAM: 8gb
i think for the power connector it has 8 but anyway i've tried almost everything, i dont know if i installed the drivers wrong or something but i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers nothing is working and cant find any solution please help!

Solution
Try this. Install ddu and select nvidia. Then select clean and shutdown (for new graphics card). Take the gpu out of the pci slot and make sure it's clean. Place it back in and boot the pc. Go to nvidia's website and make sure you download a fresh set of the latest drivers available. Then install. Should be working now.
