do you really need the 12GB VRAM if not the 980 ti in sli can gives you more performance than a single titan x, heck even a single 980 ti only gives around 3-5% fps difference in gaming

this build goes around £2500
ther's ton of build out there which fit your massive budget this is merely my opinion
can't say it's the best but it get the jobs done at least
the motherboard gat a wi-fi built-in so you don't need to spend extra on wireless card

and since next year AMD and Nvidia "might" use GDDR5X alongside HBM2 (if nothing happens) you might want to choose moderate card for now and wait for the next-gen card it's all in your hand CMIIW

Instead of Getting 4K monitor for Gaming why not getting a 1440p with 21:9 ratio. You will get much better Gaming Experience.

SLI can cause minor issues in certain games but if you want to game at ultra settings at high resolutions you have no choice but to go with SLI. A single card would not be powerful enough especially at 4k.
