Hi everyone, i recently had a huge problem involving short circuit in walls during which my PC and TV died, TV aside because it has warranty, i opened my pc and found out that PSU died so i went and bought a new one(cheap and shit quality MS 550w, i know im an idiot for not doing a bit of research) and i came back home, plugged it all in and realised that my GPU died aswell, so now im looking for a replacement for my 6770HD 1gb ddr3 within same price/quality and less power consumption(70-90e price range).
Rest of my rig is:
intel i3 2100 3.1GHz
8gb RAM
550w MS PSU
500Gb HDD
asus h61m mobo

Thanks in advance!

This is a tough one because on your budget I don't know if you will get something as good as your HD 6770. The obvious choice would be a GTX 750, it's about the same performance but only uses half the power, except I don't think you'll find one in your price range. The next card down, the GT 740 uses more power than the GTX 750 and has lower performance and should be cheaper. I don't know if this helps or not, either you need a bigger budget, a better PSU or are happy with a less powerful GPU.

i could live with weaker gpu that wont sweat my bad psu too much, what about r7 240 1gb ddr5 or 7730 1gb ddr5?

Both of those GPUs are much weaker than what you had and aren't very good with modern games, although they would both be ok for older titles. So, what is it you do with your computer? If you are doing some gaming, what games are you playing?

yeah i game a bit, but nothing harcore, some CSGO,DOTA2 and Dark Souls 1/2, quite mediocre titles as far as sys req go

Ok, both of the cheap cards would run those games but don't expect 60fps at 1080p from them. I just think it seems a shame to actually downgrade your GPU, but I guess you have a budget.

Whats your exact budget?
How much are you willing to spend on the GPU? and how much are you willing spend on the PSU?

I can only answer your question if your going to be specific.

it really is a shame, but i have to separate cash for many things(school, food etc, and with only 230e paycheck a month i cant really afford some crazy specs), anyway, i found a 6770 ddr5 1gb for real cheap from a friend(luck lvl 9000) so i wont downgrade in the end ^^ Thanks for all help and info, good guy pete<3
