Greetings,
My system: MSI GTX 970 GAMING
Intel i7 870 2.93 gzh
8 ram
psu 850 W
Mobo--> gigabyte h55m-usb 3
Symptoms: i press the power button and it wont boot. Sometimes the fans are working, sometimes some fans ARENT working, but the result is the same, no boot, no beeps, black screen.
I made sure the cables are connected, i pulled some cables out and in again, and sometimes my PC boots and theres no problem when its on. But if i turn it off and try to boot it again, it MIGHT do the same.
What the hell is wrong?

Did you check if your PSU is connected? If yes do you see a green light on the mobo when psu is connected?

Well, now my PC is on, so i suppose its connected. The thing is, the symptoms are not standard, and i cannot pinpoint the problem. If it was a fried MOBO, i couldnt use my pc right now. Is it maybe that my GPU is big, and i have the CM 212 heatsink and its very crowdy in there. Could it be those components interfering with vital connections?

Good to hear that your pc booted again. To keep it that way could you provide me with the background information? Did you see any weird symptons before this problem occurred? Hot pc, slow etc...

Ok, i got the GPU recently because the other i had died, my CPU was hot, it reached 99 degrees celsius, and i got the CM 212 heatisnk and now it on 50 load. But that problem occured AFTER i got the heatsink and GPU, so the temps arent the problem because its for GPU steady 60 degrees celsius on load and for CPU 50 degrees.

Alright, so the cause is not overheating as you said it's steady +-55. There is nothing wrong with your specs as much as I can see.

It may be just a one time thing since computers have their bad days too, but if this happens again try to reset the electricity.
- Remove any connected cables such as USB-mouse etc...
- Remove HDD, RAM and remove the PSU cable from the mobo.
- Hold the power button for 60 seconds.
- Connect everything again.
- Start your PC
- (only if you have this enabled) Go to Control Panel> Power Options > disable High Performance > Click on default.
