What type of 970 do you want?

It has two 6+2 pin PCIE connectors so im pretty sure it will work.

1 x 24 pin ATX (55cm), 1 x 8 pin EPS (55cm), 2 x 6+2 pin PCIE (45cm +15cm), 4 x SATA (55cm + 15cm), 4 x Molex, 2 x floppy

I bought nvidia geforce gtx 970 graphics card...Since my old PSu i.e 450 watts power is not going to work......So I ordered a new one (Corsair VS Series VS550 - 550 Watt SMPS).....So, I want to know is that if Corsair VS Series VS550 - 550 Watt SMPS is a 8pin connector to fit with my graphics card??

It has 6+2 pins which can be either a 6 pin or a 8 pin connector so yes it will work.

What are your PC specs?

I hope all goes well with your install. However, I've read that some people have had quality control issues. Yours may be just fine, but if you do replace it, you may consider a higher tier PSU.

The vs550 is tier 4, it will fit the specification, but there may be better quality components in other options for a similar cost.

You can take a look at the sticky in the components main page for the different tiers and comments on them.
