Samsung Galaxy Tab A won't turn on

Today I got home and tried to turn it on but nothing, so I figured it needed a charge. I plug it up and it doesn't even come up with a charging icon, leave it there for a while and still nothing. When I try to turn it on nothing happens.

I have tried:

  • Holding power button for long periods of time
    Holding "Volume Down" while plugged in
    Chargining through a PC

Please help me, I have no idea what's wrong.

I had something similar happen to my Tab 4 a few weeks ago. It simply refused to turn on. All I did was plug my charger into it and allowed it to remain plugged in for 12+ hours straight uninterrupted and it worked.
