Just recently heard of the concept and installed premier pro & after effects etc. on the 10K HHD (there are four other drives for other storage) What I want is longer life out of the SSD and think there will be little latency having the games on the HHD . So far just "War Thunder" but will add World of Warships and Heroes & Generals also. Am wondering though with so much activity is it better to have the game on the SSD since a HHD still has all the moving parts. So What do you think???? ~ Thanks

The build I have is an Asus X99-A MB Intel i7 5820K cpu and GTX 960 graphics card

Well yeah the SSD is faster and since games are mostly performing read operations after you install them it should not affect the life of the SSD in any noticeable way.

Well Shoot! "War Thunder" is 10GB downloaded and Adobe CS5.5 is about 9.2GB. I doubt there is a way to move it over to the SSD meaning re-do it all over again for what's better in the long run. Lot's of moving parts! :fou::fou::fou: Live & Learn
