The LGA 1151 is the most recent desktop socket. Came out a couple of months ago. The Code name for the chips that go in it is Skylake, 6th generation with number like i7 6700K and i5 6600K.

Since this is a direct quiz question, it would be wise to research the answer thoroughly yourself. Donkey was right, last year; but this information changes rapidly. The LGA 1151 is no longer the most recent. Google "list of CPU sockets" and find a reputable source of current information for this question.
