Hi i was thinking about making a hackintosh out of my first home built pc. the current spec on my old home built are.
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 9750
motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA78LM-S2H
RAM: 8GB DDR2 667MHz
PSU: antec earthwatts 650w
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 240
Wireless PCI-E adapter: TP-LINK TL WDN4800
Optical Drive OEM HP Optical Drive
Secondary HDD im planning to use on for the OSX Yosemite: 120GB 5400RPM Toshiba Laptop HDD
would the specs here work for making a hackintosh? or do i have to have a intel CPU in order to make a hackintosh. If the specs work then how would i make a hackintosh? im planning on installing the os in a secondary hdd but leave the data cable unplugged. whenever i would need to boot from mac then i would switch to data cable over to the HDD with the mac osx in it? would this work? if this were to work with mac os would i be able to do the same with linux ubentu?
