I have bad fps on gta 5 with 980Ti?

Hello, I have bad fps in gta 5 with a 980Ti the fps is about 40 to 60 fps everything maxed out except the advanced settings.
My current setup.
Cpu: fx 8329
Gpu: 980Ti
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 µATX.
Ram: 2 x 4gb

I hope you know what is causing it please let me know it if you know something. And btw I'm probaly going to upgrade my cpu and motherboard!

What are your CPU and gpu usages? Not sure what CPU you meant but there isn't a FX CPU out that wont bottleneck a 980Ti

MSAA 8 times and 1080p my percentages I don't know I will have a look at that tomorrow thx for the fast responses

you don't need 8x for start, that is hammering it plus the grass at max is ridiculous setting you literally lose 30fps looking at it compared to medium. those two alone should help loads

8320, are you over clocking it? That's really weak to pair with a 980Ti

Like people above said, 8320 is bottlenecking the 980Ti + you have some ridiculous settings you don't need. Like that x8 MSAA and the grass setting

Shall I upgrade to Intel like a i5 4690k with a good motherboard? Some people said my motherboard was also an really bad? Is that true?

It's not really optimal for the FX-8 series. It works for up to FX-6 but for FX-8 it is too flimsy.

Also, 4690k would help quite a lot after you overclock it to 4Ghz so it equals and i7.

I turnt MSAA to X2 and grass to normal then I went on to play and still drops lower then 60 fps and my cpu usage is 45 to 50% and my gpu usage is about 60 to 95% mostly 65 and 75%

Your overall CPU usage is ok but do you have individual cores hitting 100%, I suspect you do.
