Hi all,

Bought an ASUS ZX97-Pro motherboard and an i5-4690K, and decided to watercool it. Being a noob that I am, I just looked at the socket size, so I got Intel TS13X that works with LGA1150,according to the specs.

I'm following the LGA115x instructions. So now the black frame that goes onto the MB doesn't fit because the CPU socket is surrounded by these capacitor thingies that prevent the pegs from reaching the cooler holes around the socket.

Step 5A in the manual is what I'm stuck at:
http://download.intel.com/support/processors/sb/TS13X_liquid_cooling_thermal_solution.pdf

If TS13X doesn't work with this MB, which liquid cooling will work with this board then?

Thanks guys!

Solution
The frame/mount goes on the back of the board.

EDIT:
If there is a frame on the back, you will probably have to remove it and install the water cooler mount. The screws go into the mount and tighten - hold the cooler down onto the CPU. Do not make it too tight and use as thin a covering of thermal paste as you can make it.
