I've got the MSI GTX 970 Gaming (The one where the only backplates I think are custom and rather expensive) but was about to purchase a second one and was reading something about backplates having a higher cause in SLI because the heat can sometimes cause some issues with the exposed VRAM or something of the sort. Will this actually cause any harm that I need to take note of and scavenge around for a backplate? I'm going to be housing them in my MSI Gaming 5 mobo which I'm hoping has enough cooling room in between but what are your thoughts? o:
