Not sure why my 980 TI have a low graphic score of only 12k when most 980 TI are at 16k+. Also not sure why my I7-5820k shows up at 2900 Mhz on the website when stock is already at 3.3Ghz. Is there something wrong on my PC?

My Specs

* i7-5820k
* GTX 980 TI ftw evga
* Corsair H110i GTX
* Asus X99-A Motherboard
* Corsair Lpx 16GB 4X4GB DDR4-3000MHZ Ram
* EVGA SuperNOVA 750W

When I was looking at what graphics card to buy, I remember somewhere that GTX 980 TI should have an average of 16k firestrike score. I'm running normal firestrike, not extreme or ultra.

I have no idea what are these values are. I recently bought my PC from NCIX, they helped me picked parts and I paid them for premium assembly. They did all the building and setting up drivers. What exactly is wrong with it? I still have a warranty and can return it if theres a problem.

Wouldnt adjusting these settings void my warranty? I just bought this computer and if possible I would like to keep my warranty. What exactly do these values mean? If you dont mind explaining so I can return my computer and have them fix it instead.

That what I'm planning to do, but what exactly will I tell them? I dont know what is wrong with my PC/Configuration. Is it downclocked? or not configured properly? What exactly is the complaint I have to give them? What should I ask them to fix?

"Why is my CPU multiplier set at 29 and my bus speed set at 125MHz on my NEW CUSTOM BUILT COMPUTER I PURCHASED from NCIX???"
Give them your purchase order number and have them explain.

Are you seriously so clueless that you can't tell your vendor your problems???

Sadly yes, I have no idea what should be my CPU multiplier and bus speed set at by default. If you dont mind, Can you give me more detail what I should tell them? I still have no idea what these numbers mean and what is wrong with my PC.

When you enable XMP in the BIOS, it adjust the BCLK so multiplier of the CPU is reduced by that divider. It is normal. :) Check his CPU-Z he is getting 3.6 GHz (29 * 1.25 = 36) Hope that would clarify the things.

Score is low. When checking the 3dmark score for graphics cards don't just check the overall score but check the graphics score as it is important. Your graphics score is low.

Please update your driver. Before running the Firestrike test again, make sure that there is no other program/ running in the background. If you have enabled shadow play then disable it. Which slot graphics card is in? Post your GPU-Z pic as well. Post your CPU and GPU temps as well.
