The track pad on my laptop won't work properly. The track pad on/off button flashes rapidly, the screen icon appears and disappears rapidly (as if I'm turning the track pad on and off 10 times a second) and eventually defaults to not working. The light remains off (meaning the pad should work) but it does not.
I solved this problem earlier by uninstalling the drivers on the track pad but either they reinstalled or something else has gone wrong because it's back to being problematic again.
Ideas?
