GPU GTX 970 upgrade... PSU?

I currently have a unbranded PSU... Well it might be but not by a good brand as I can't recognise the name. I have had it for 3 years now no problems at all (730W)

I am getting a new GPU, would this be alright? I am getting a new PSU the next month but would you think it would be alright for a month?

I second Blackbird, I personally wouldn't risk it.

Your current PSU might have worked well enough under previous conditions, but putting a nice GPU like the GTX 970 in your rig will tax the power supply in a way it hasn't had to deal with before.

It really comes down to: are you willing to risk your new graphics card and the rest of your components instead of waiting for a few more weeks?
