Well currently i have an amd 860k on an asus A68HM-E Mobo and either i upgrade the motherboard and buy a cpu cooler or should i just buy fx-6300 with a am3+ mobo or should i just switch to i3?(i know about it's duo core that's why im hesitating) and sorry for my bad english

Solution
Yes overclock on the cheap ass motherboard, the cpu doesn't use that much power anyways... The whole point of overclocking is to save money, so what if you only get 200-300Mhz for free on your POS motherboard cause it is FREE. Another way to look at this is the cpu socket supports cpu's with an on die gpu, your cpu doesn't have a gpu freeing up the power to be used for overclocking. I wouldn't expect super results or over volt the shit out of it but seriously I have done some of my best overclocking on cheap ass motherboard with cheap ass cpu's. The AM3+ will NEVER get a faster cpu than the FX-9590. And for the games you listed that are bottlenecked on you current system the FX-9590 won't help cause it has the same single thread...
All i3's have hyper-threading technology. This doubles its LOGICAL cores to 4. Not all programs or operating systems are optimized for hyper-threading but honestly, I would take a lower end Intel chip over AMD any day. More stable, they run cooler, if you're going to be gaming, I would recommend an i5 though.

yeah an i5 is over my budget if im considering a good oc board and i thought that i3 has a problem playing farcry 4 and witcher 3( basiclly all quad core requierment game)

AM3+ is a dead platform so I would not recommend buying it. Have you tried overclocking at all? What are you using the computer for? You best bet may be to save your money for a while till you can afford an newer Intel platform, you could always get a low end Intel cpu and then save up for an i5 or i7.

wait so you want me to overclock with a cheap ass motherboard? no ty and im using my computer for gaming, so my friends gave me a r9 290 for my birthday it's used but only for about 7 months , ive tried it , it works great but i notice a bottleneck in intensive cpu games gta V, Starwars battlefront, etc. if the am3+ platform is dead , there's still a upgrade path towards it right? i could buy an FX-9590 litterly the only reason im desprate to go with amd only because of a little competition with my friends .
