Hey guys, ive always played cod on xbox but now im working on the road so I bring my laptop with me. It was pretty expensive when i bought it a few months ago. The' can you run this' app says my laptop cant support black ops 3. I also read not to trust that app.

Here are my specs, can they handle the game?

GPU: GeForce 920M

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz

Memory: 8GB

Windows 10

Im not big with computers so this is like a different language to me.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That is a pretty unbalanced system you got, i7 CPU with a low end 820M video card. The laptop was clearly made for office work not any type of video or rendering/CAD work. The price you paid was for the CPU, which is probably spending on the wrong thing since an i5 or even an i3 is fine in almost every situation.

I think jupopp meant "extremely low" instead of "high" settings. Your video card is well bellow the requirements for the game. It may start and "run" but may not be smooth at all, especially compared to a console version.

This can run Black Ops 3 but at extremely high settings, and you are probably going to get anywhere from 40-50 Frames per second. As well as on 720p so it won't be full HD. But yes it could run it.
