I checked the SSD compatibility list on Asrock's website, but it didn't have the Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD listed. I'm sure I'm just worrying about nothing, but is this board compatible with that SSD, while getting the full speed?

Also, I ordered an 8GB 2-stick kit of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-2400 RAM. The model number is listed on the RAM compatibility list, but another site mentioned overclocking. I know about XMP, but is that possible with the non-K Intel Core i5-6500 processor?

Solution
1) Yes, the 850 EVO will work on your board with no problem.

2) You'll need to check what frequencies the CPU supports, but honestly leaving the RAM at the base clock of 2400 MHz is going to run really quickly so there isn't a need to overclock it for performance's sake.
