[SOLVED] FX 8320 Question

Hello, I currently have a Amd Athlon x4 750k and a Gigabyte Motherboard. And a MSI GTX 960 4gb. I was wondering if this is a good and solid upgrade. A Amd Fx 8320 and a MSI 970 AM3+? From my current build, is a good step up?

Spend a little more and go with an i5, here's what I would recommend:

But if you insist on AMD then yes the 8320 and 970 will be a nice upgrade as well.

If I was to go with the i5 would I really see much of a difference compared to the FX 8320 with the GTX 960?

And would overclocking the FX make it fast enough to over come the performance of the i5?

The 4440-4460 get about 5-10 fps more than the 8320/8350 while the FX cards are overclocked so you won't see too big of a difference but AMD uses more TDP and sometimes requires higher voltages when overclocking (1.38-1.45+)vs(1.2-1.4). The 4460 uses 22nm technology opposed to the AMD 32nm and have stronger cores than AMD.
