Hello everyone, this is my first post here, and I'm posting because it seems like the vast majority of google links I have tried for troubleshooting brought me here.
I have a slightly older Sony Vaio, and I ran dxdiag:

(If I left out anything important, please let me know, I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff.)

So here is my problem; I've had this computer for a while now, and I use it mostly for homework and occasionally a game or two. I upgraded to Windows 10 a month or two ago, and I had no problems. I play Minecraft sometimes, and in the past, it has always worked fine. I didn't have the greatest frame rate, but it was playable with low settings at around 20-30 fps. Recently, (I think 2 nights ago?) I was playing and my computer crashed with a BSOD and the error listed was DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. This is wasn't the first time it had happened, so I wasn't too worried at first. I let my computer restart, and started playing again. After about 20-30 minutes, it crashed again in the same manner. So I let it restart again, and restarted the game. Same thing happened again, crash with BSOD and same error. Only this time when I restarted and began playing again, I noticed some screen tearing. At least I think that's what its called; it was as if someone had grabbed pixels and dragged them across the screen, leaving solid colored triangles smearing the screen. I know I probably should have tried to fix the crashing before starting the game each time, but I didn't. So, after the screen tearing, I started looking for solutions. I began with updating drivers for everything I could think of, and I changed some video options in the game settings. No luck. I re-downloaded the game launcher, still no luck. I tried everything I could think of, and eventually decided just to system restore. I used the built in recovery partition that comes with the Vaio, and completely wiped everything back to factory settings. As soon as that was done, I reinstalled Windows 10, updated all the drivers again, and downloaded a clean copy of Minecraft. Still the exact same tearing. So I did another system recovery back to factory settings. This time I didn't install Windows 10, I just tried downloading and running the game on the Windows 7 OS. Same exact tears. At this point I don't know what else to do. This is most likely hardware damage right? Any help on this matter would be great, I think my next step will be cracking open the case to remove any dirt or dust inside; after that its going to be time to buy a new gaming laptop....

(So on a possibly related note, any advice on a new gaming laptop could potentially be helpful/appreciated as well...)
