Why is my AMD A10-7850k using onboard GPU instead of the one in the expansion slot?

I checked twice in my BIOS and my device manager and pretty sure my onboard video card is disabled, but for some reason the AMD A10-7850K draws power from the onboard GPU instead of the one on my expansion slot. Is there a way to change this?

I am using asus A88XM-A Micro ATX FM2+ motherboard. I checked if there is a CPU option that could turn of or switch the processor but I haven't found any option.

My specs
Gigabyte Radeon 7750 HD
Asus A88XM-A Micro ATX FM2+
AMD A10-7850K processor
12 GB of RAM

I am not sure if I have enough power to power them both up

How did you determine that? You have an APU; the GPU/CPU are not separated. Unless you used it as an APU and installed the drivers, the GPU part should be disabled. You probably should read this: http://www.pcper.com/news/Processors/Fully-Enabling-A10-7850K-while-Utilizing-Standalone-GPU
