I'm getting strange overheating problems for my CPU
Let me start of by talking about the history of my PC.
I have had my PC for 4 years now. When I first got it it already hade CPU heating problems (80c in BIOS) but that was because the people who build it did a poor job in attaching the cpu cooler to the CPU (it wouldn't make contact) so that was solved by re mounting the CPU fan. After that it was perfect 35c in bios and when I would stress test it would reach a max of 45c. So decided to overclock it and had no problems temps where still good. A year ago I was having problems with my GPU and so I decided to send it to the shop to check what was wrong. The fugein moron took it all apart and said the problem was the cooler because it was using a wrong screw... And he tells (but I haven't tried putting the graphics card in the second socket. Do u want me to try?) I was like facepalm that was the 1st thing I thought was wrong the socket instead of ripping my PC apart. So happens that I was right and I had a faulty socket. But now this moron tells me that he doesn't feel like putting it all together again because he doesn't feel comfortable with that cooling system and wrong screw, so he tells me that I have to put it back together... Wtf. I obviously complained and so he endet up putting it back but he put a normal CPU fan instead. After making me pay an absurd price for a shit job the CPU would heat up to much(60-80c) because it has that shit fan which can't handle my 6core CPU. So I send it to another shop and they put it on no problem except that they didn't use the back plate because for my motherboard it's not needed he said. Payed way less as well. But the temps weren't as good as back then. Now idle was like (50c) and not overlocked some times whent up to 60c. But I was like what the hell as long as I can use it. A year from then, some times my CPU over heats when I start my PC and gives me temp error. In bios it shows 70c slowly increases to 80+. dosent mater how many times I restart or change settings in bios problem always stays. But if I don't touch it for a while like half a day it just magically works. All is fine can keep it on for days. But when I turn it off some times I get the same overheating problem again. Which I always solve by waiting a few hours. Some times it doesn't happen for a long time but recently few weeks after I got windows 10 I was getting huge ram usage problems and CPU. On start up 70-80 of my ram was being used (I have 32gb ram) I couldn't find the reason so I made a threat here and some told me to dowload advance system care which fixed my ram and CPU usage problems. Since it also has a driver up date feature I decided to do that since I had 69 drivers out of date. Day after, overheating problem comes back and my CPU is being used 100% in the advance system care CPU monitor. But in task mangier it shows only that 5% is being used. But when I look at the temp its 70c -80c. The strangest thing tho is my CPU fan speed which keeps oscillating at extreme levels. Like from 3000rpm to 10000rpm just keeps going up and down ad it shows me this also in the bios. Nothing I change in the bios CPU fan settings seems to take effect.
Today I can't seem to get past the over heating problem so I'm using my phone to post here.
I have done an antivirus scan an anti malware scan and more but still can't fix this. Personally I think ether something's wrong with my CPU cooler or that something is messing with my CPU cooler or my CPU is fucked. Ventilation/dust don't think are the problem. Nor do I think it's the thermal paste because why dose it work some days then??
Build:
i7 6 core CPU (don't remember the model) LGA 2011 socket I believe.
4 corsair 8GB ram. Which one just broke as I was messing in my case. Glue of the ram heatsink melted of.
Motherboard: sabertooth 2011 socket don't know model name.
GPU: GTX 670 gigabit 2GVR
CPU cooler: H100 corsair
PSU: Ssasonic 850v I believe.
