I am upgrading my PC with a new motherboard and CPU, my problem is that i am doing a clean install with my current hard drive which is still in use and full, do I do a clean install before i put the new motherboard in, do i put the motherboard in load up windows and then do a clean install what order do i do the installs in?

Solution
I assume all clean I would install all hardware - insure it posts to bios set up bios - reboot back to bios to insure its good to go there then reboot on the windows disk and install windows all the way to desktop after you got a good install of windows and its finished reboot back to desktop and install drivers as you need [chipset - lan audio - vid card ect..] I like to do them one at a time and reboot back to desktop that way if one has a issue along the way you kinda know it was the last one you installed .

if you load them all at once and things go wrong you now guessing on what did it [opinion]
