Can't connect to the Internet after reinstalling Windows 7

After reinstalling Windows 7 on to my computer, I noticed several small issues along with not being able to connect to the internet. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Make sure you get the correct drivers installed.

When I built my PC a month back and installed Windows 7, sound and internet did not work until all the motherboard drivers were installed.
