How to delete undeletable files from usb drive which cannot be delete even using IObit unlocker?

I am using Windows XP. I inserted a usb drive which had files, which did not had any format and which cannot be deleted even using unlocker / IObit unlocker. I also rebooted my computer but still cannot be deleted. The file names were weird like @, ç@. When I try to delete it without jusing any software then it says cannot delete cannot read files from the source...
