hi. plz can anyone recommend windows suitable for my pc for gaming excluding windows 10. i dont want win 10. here are my specs
ram-4gb ddr2
motherboard-asus p5sd2-vm
processor-intel pentium dual cpu e2200@2.20ghz
gpu-gainward nvidia geforce gt 610 4gb
but without windows 10 any other windows suitable for gaming on my pc .

Well, since you have only 4GB of ram, which is what 32 bit maxes at, you wont really get any "special" benefits from 64 bit windows.
on other hand, 64 isn't any worse and as far as I know, wont cost more than 32 bit (and at same time, allows for future addition of RAM) so..

go for 64 bit.

and one more thing i get lag spikes in all games every 5-7 seconds but i didn't had that problem before.

Lag spike hunting is a fun game of "what changed after it ran fine last time"
chances are:
some driver is different
some graphics setting was changed for some reason
you upgraded/downgraded windows (this usually requires you to reinstall ALL drivers to ensure they work correctly)
some windows setting (cache, swap file size, background services) has changed due to a windows update and/or upgrade/downgrade
your user profile is corrupted in some weird way (has happened before) and you need to create/use another profile to get it to work.

and many more.

at that time i was having zotac nvidia geforce 8400 GS Gpu

well, according to comparisons, 610 should beat 8400 GS any day of the week.
However, since hardware changed...
did you install gpu drivers?
did you verify game detail settings? (games usually default/reset details on hardware changes) resulting in bit better looking but laggy result.

All in all though, for better/more replies, the lag spike hunting would belong in it's own post.
Main reason is that this post is categorized as windows (a question which was solved) and the subject doesn't really cover lag spikes so most might skip the thread completely, especially now that it is marked as solved.
