Hello everyone. I would like to turn my duel monitor set up into a 3 monitor setup. I purchased a graphic card thinking that I could just add another card and that would allow me to add a 3rd monitor but seems like I am having some problems. Right now I have the following mother board

ASUS Mobo.F1A75-V EVO DVD
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/F1A75V_EVO/

This has a diaplay port, DVI, and VGA out

With the following CPU
AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 6550HD
http://www.amazon.com/AMD-A8-3870K-Graphics-Quad-Core-Processor/dp/B006J420UE

I was running 2 monitors off this set up fine. I purchased the following graphic card

MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1 GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card R6450-MD1GD3/LP
http://us.msi.com/product/vga/R6450-MD1GD3LP.html#hero-overview

My monitors all have DVI and VGA inputs. 2 of them have HDMI inputs.

Also within my BIOS in the configuration of the north bridge section it allows me to change some of the video outputs for the motherboard. Here is a picture.

So I installed the drivers for the new card, and I cannot get the card and the motherboard to work together to make 3 screens work. Do I need a new graphic card that can do 3 screens? Hopefully I can just use what I have and that I have misconfigured something.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

This isn't an Active Display port to VGA/HDMI/DVI-D adapter , You need to connect :

Motherboard Display port -------->Active Display port to HDMI-------> 1 monitor
Motherboard VGA port ------> 1 monitor
Motherboard DVI-D port or HDMI port ------> 1 monitor

an IGP and a graphics card will not display together , you can't connect some ports into the motherboard and the other into the graphics card , It's either you connect them all to the motherboard or connect them all to the graphics card .
To run more than 2 monitors on an amd graphics (IGP or a card) the 3rd monitor must have Displayport to connect it to the graphics output of the IGP or the card .

That card supports only 2 monitors max , there isn't a display port in it .
however your motherboard(IGP) already supports 3 monitors since it has a Display port
but your monitors has no display port , so you need an ACTIVE display port to HDMI cable
this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816402&cm_re=DisplayPort_active-_-12-816-402-_-Product

Connect that to your motherboard Display port and to 1 of the monitors that has HDMI port
Then connect the other monitors to the motherboard DVI-D and VGA ports
Remove the graphics card and use the IGP . re-install drivers and install AMD eyefinity to help you setup the monitors .
