RAM Compatibility with the processor

Can I install G.Skill 2x8GB DDR3 2133Mhz RAM to the motherboard(ASUS Z97-K)? I plan to install intel i5-4690S processor. On Intel's website(ark.intel.com), it says that i5-4690S supports only DDR3 1600/1333 Mhz only.

The memory frequency depends more on the motherboard capabilities. I'm 100% sure that the 2133 MHz will work with that CPU.
