Hey all!

I've been working on a really old Dual Core rig for a long time and its time to get an upgrade. Since the whole set is so old I would have to replace EVERYTHING I'm starting from zero.

My new rig is primarily going to be used for Gaming. I also need to record the gameplay and stream it. i work in programs like Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro aswell, so it needs to work well with them (ie. fast render times for videos, no lag).

Here is the list of parts.

  • Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00 GHz, turbo 4.40 GHz, x4/8, 8 MB

    Water Cooling CORSAIR Hydro H110

    Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI - ATX, Z97, 4x DDR3,

    RAM DDR3 CORSAIR - 16 GB / 1600 (2x 8 GB), CL9, Vengeance LP

GPU PCIex GIGABYTE GTX 970 4096 MB DDR5

    PSU CORSAIR CS Series CS750M

    2x SEAGATE 1 TB, 64 MB, 7200 rpm., 3.5", SATA3

    SSD CORSAIR FORCE LS - 240 GB, 2.5", SATA3,
    ---
    Case Zalman R1

It would be great if you guys could help me. This is my first ever self-constructed rig and I'm really planning it for some few years of good use. Please also keep in mind that I'm trying to fit in a budget of under $2000.

Once again, thank you in advance for your replies and helping out! :)

Since, you haven't added a display there on above so, i feel no hesitate to push your money on better components.
