I have an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard. I had three sticks of OCZ PC3 12800 installed, 2gb each.

I purchased a 16gb kit from G.Skill (12800CL9Q-16GBXL), after installation and run I get nothing, just a black screen. Is this not compat with my mobo?

I tried resetting the bios and I tried flashing the bios, still no go. Putting the old RAM back in has my PC booting normally. Anything I can do?

Thanks.

Q:
I want to install more memory, in addition to my existing memory kit. What are my options?

A:
We do not recommend mixing memory kits, regardless of brand or model.

By mixing memory kits together, there may be compatibility issues such as unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications.

Each of our memory kit are thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility within each memory kit. And because we have not tested our memory kit with your existing memory kit, we cannot guarantee compatibility when multiple kits are used.

Thanks for the reply. I am not mixing the RAM kits, i am completely removing the old and installing the new, which is not working. When I remove the new and put the old back in it works as before. The new G.Skill kit isnt currently working. Sorry for any confusion.

This is what Crucial says is compatible: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/ASUS/p6t-deluxe-v2 is that not the case?
