How long will my CPU and GPU last?

Hello people, I was just wondering, I'm intending on building my first gaming PC and I intend to use an i5 6600 processor and an MSI r9 380 GPU (no overclock at all) I also intend to do some light coding and I was wondering will my parts run new games on med/high and for how long will it last? Thank you

I'd estimate that pairing has a good two years longer. After that all you would need to do is upgrade your graphics card, as your CPU should keep up a little bit longer than the GPU.

Really depends how fussy you are with game settings. Your CPU should be good for 5 years but you gpu could be 2-5 years depending on your own feeling of if it meets your needs

For intel? Until you buy another cpu.

you can almost use an intel forever for your gpu maybe 2 years but then just throw a 2rd 380 in there for sli and bam there an other year or 2 worth of power
