Intel Core i7-4770s CPU @ 3.10GHz
64-bit OS
12.0GB
NVIDIA GeFore GTX 760

Computer starts up just fine and have no problems whatsoever as long as I don't play games that requires too much like GW2. When I get on GW2 and try playing, the mobo fan will turn off, it starts lagging, and the computer will restart or screen goes blank. When I play games like L4D2, it runs perfectly fine.

At first I thought it was just dirty with dust, but still happens after I cleaned it and plugged everything back in.

Can this be fixed or is the computer dying?

If your motherboard has one have you tried plugging in the CPU fan header into a different CPU fan socket (there are sometimes two).

Have you monitored the heat of your CPU during heavy gaming? It sounds like you could be having heat-related problems.

It overheats due to the fan stopping when I play games, but if I don't play any games the fan doesn't stop.
Do I need to download a program to monitor the heat?
