help with bios

hallo..
ok after many many many reboots, bios flashes and searching found out that my ssd works on IDE mode (when bios is set on IDE everything goes around fine...it gets in the windows ok and I can fool around in bios again ok)
but from the moment I press <<load optimal settings in bios>> (after I fooled around in bios with settings and OC ing) the setting from IDE automatically changes in AHCI mode and by pressing of course Save and Exit BIOS everything FREEZED both bios and OS
so my friend whats your advice in this case?
how can I permanently set the ssd in AHCI mode (which I thing performs better)
