how much more is a H97 motherboard? also I do some rendering for my youtube channel but nothing higher than 720/1080P, but which processor with work better on graphic intensive games?

There close, since your rendering the Xeon might be a better choice. To save money I would go with the Asrock H97 Anniversary. The Xeon has no iGPU (built-in graphics) but it doesn't matter since you will have that GTX 970. Because of that it will use less power and essentially have lower temps which is good.

That's a good MB, I would defiantly hold off on the i5-6500. Since its a unlocked MB I would go with the i5-4690K so that eventually you will be able to overclock. You could go with the Xeon still but that 4690K, even before OC, will give you better performance with gaming and the Xeon is locked.
