Attempted to update BIOS, now motherboard keeps trying to boot from USB

I tried to update the BIOS of my motherboard, which is a MSI 760GM-P34 (FX), by putting the BIOS file I downloaded (A7641AMS.HH0) from MSI's website onto a bootable USB drive.

I went into my current BIOS and tried to set the M Flash to "BIOS update", aka find the new BIOS file in the USB drive, but it didn't work. Then I set the M Flash to "Boot", aka boot from a USB and find the new BIOS from there, and I changed the boot order to USB then hard drive.

You can see the BIOS and its options here: https://youtu.be/J39zu6jadBw?t=10s

When I rebooted the PC, it detected the BIOS file in my USB and said "Reading file - A7641AMS.HH0" It was stuck there for the next four hours and beeped every two seconds or so before I rebooted it. When I rebooted the computer, I was unable to enter BIOS or change the boot order and it kept searching for a BIOS file from a USB drive. After three tries the PC would restart and the cycle would repeat. If I plugged in the USB containing the BIOS, the computer would get stuck on reading the file again.

Is my motherboard bricked, or is there a way to change the boot order or access the BIOS so that the motherboard boots from my hard drive instead of forever trying to find a BIOS file on the USB?

Solution
On some motherboards, and when you do a bios update or a flash of it.
You need to set the board back to it`s default factory settings to clear out any old bios information.

Find the jumper on the motherboard that resets the bios back to factory defaults to flush the bios and complete the new bios update.

Or the board can experience lock up, on a system reset.
Turn your pc off completely.
The bios reset pins can be found near the cmos coin cell battery on your motherboard. bridge the two pins with a jumper.
or flat bladed screwdriver tip. for about ten seconds. remove and power the system on.

I removed the CMOS battery for 10 seconds, then put it back in. Now I can boot into BIOS but when Windows boots up it launches "Automatic Repair". It prompts me to choose a keyboard layout but none of my USB devices are working. Any way to solve this?

Well I am glad it is working for you now.

Ok so you have factory defaulted the bios.

So no doubt you have worked out that you may need to change a few settings in the bios due to this.
If one of your usb devices is not working go into the bios.
First look for a setting that says detect usb legacy devices make sure it is enabled.
If it`s not on, or enabled some motherboards keyboard presses are failed to be detected when pressing a key to enter the bios.
You must also on some boards connect the keyboard and mouse to the right ports.

If you are running a motherboard with a ueif bios make sure you select the advanced bios settings and enable them.
You then get extended options for devices such as usb port setup in your bios.
You may find that you have to re enable a set number of usb ports in your bios.
And they are currently turned off due to the factory default resetting you had to do to get the board to boot into windows ect.
that is probably the reason why no usb devices such as your keyboard and mouse are detected.
Once you change the settings in the bios make sure you save them before you exit the bios.

If you get stuck Msg back, tell me exactly what is not working as a usb device ok.
