I plan on getting 3 monitor 1080p for new gaming rig (DELL U2414H) x3 with GTX980Ti Galax running them
will i be able to get 60fps on high-ultra sett in games ? BF4, Witcher 3, GTA V, etc

Solution
I have a triple Samsung - 27" LED Curved S27D590C with an Intel 4790k, Asus Matrix 980 Ti, 32gb of cl8 1877 Tridentx on an Asus Maximus VI Extreme Mother Board. I’m using 3 display ports and I’m really impressed with the setup. The 980 TI is a Beast.

I'm really happy with the card it runs Rise of the Tomb Raider on max, cruises around at 45 FPS average, respectable considering the hairwork going on in the game. The Witcher 3 Ultra 8xAA 45fps. I'm Very Happy within my purchase.

The Games play smooth but don't hit the magical 60fps. I was a little disappointed by that but... the games play silky smooth so does it really matter?

I would be interest to see if two in SLI would pull 60fps.

I bought a 960 at first but had to send it...

with 4k monitors you'd never manage it, you can also buy an overclocked 980ti, like the evga one, and I'm pretty certain, although i dont see why you'd want to run 3 games at a time anyway, it's not like you have 6 eyes, hands, and brains lol.... but yes you would be just fine, one of them could run a little slower at 50-55 fps, but I don't see you ever having issues.

From where you got those numbers? You're incorrect on this matter. You cannot just predict what framerates he will get when you're not knowing what are the other components. Also, 2 simillar builds can achieve different framerates, so this depends on many other things.
Yes, he will get playable framerates across the board, according to 4k benchmarks , but you cannot just tell him the exact numbers.

is 3x1080p considered 4k ?

It is nearly for 4k if you combine those 3 monitors resolutions.
You have a solid build, so you should be able to run great the majority of games.Sometimes you'll need to lower the settings a bit , but the overall experience will be great.

Well,
3 x 1080p is 6 million pixels per frame. So a 980 Ti should do easily & will crush most of the modern games at max settings@50-60 average fps.
Still IMO, a single 144p display would be my pick instead of triple display's if I'm running a single card.

I bought a 960 at first but had to send it back and add $500 to the cost of my build, but… You Gotta Pay, To Pay, Right?

Something I did not expect when I bought Three 27in monitors was… Is this too big? I know how could it be to big, right? Because WoW that's big, really big, 5 Foot Wide Big. The FOV (Field of Views) can make me dizzy, almost like I have vertigo, I was not expecting that, when invested in my new system.

I bought a new electronic stand/sit desk and gave myself around 33 in across my desk so a little larger than a typical desk. The other day I was playing standing up and I had to stop playing because I thought I was going to pass out, crazy because blinking lights and whatever don’t bother me.
