Limited Connectivity after months of working?

After months of my wifi being fine on the computer, it has suddenly stopped working..
I'm using the Linksys AE3000 N900 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter.

I have tried reinstalling the driver but that did not fix the problem.

Strangely it says that it's connected to the network but it doesn't have the default gateway..

Even stranger is that the ipconfig log says the auto IPv4 starts in 169 but I know for a FACT it starts with 10

All the other devices in the household work fine too! The console, tablet, phones, laptops..

It's just this computer and I have a hunch it has to do with the USB Adapter but like I said, just a hunch.

Any ideas? :(

"Limited Connectivity" is a Windows parlance for DHCP not working. Reboot box doing DHCP, then reboot PC.

Have u recently updated to W10?
