i7 4790K vs i7 6700K (Skylake) vs Xeon E3-1231V3

Solution
4790K has a better to same overall performance than the 6700K. It still has higher single and dual core performance than any other cpu, which means it is better on everyday tasks. As for multi core performance the 6700K is slightly better, but not big deal. On gaming all the work will be carried out by your gpu, so you just need a cpu good enough not to bottleneck the gpu. So in other words the 4790K and the 6700K is pretty much the same thing in terms of performance with the 4790K much better on everyday tasks. But if you want multi core performance I don't see the reason why not going for 5820K which beats both and still has almost the same price to the 6700K.
