What's the best gaming PC I could build for £600 or less?

I'm looking to build a new gaming PC and I have a budget of around £620. That doesn't include a monitor or peripherals, just the desktop. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

For a gaming build and £600 I would forget an SSD and put that money into something that will help fps. Try this site http://pcpartpicker.com/ set it to UK.

Your really aiming for a GTX960 or AMD equivalent paired with a non overclockable CPU like an i5 4460 or 4690. Just remember not to skimp on a good quality PSU.

Also 8gb RAM is the sweet spot.

Post what you come up with and we can take it from there.

Go ahead on Amazon or such and take parts. CPU Motherboard GFX card and such. i can recommend a few if you like. SSD's are gonna come in handy alot so make sure you get atleast a 120gb one.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Narutard1337/saved/4XZypg that's currently what I came up with - I haven't added an SSD as I was hoping for some suggestions as to what to get.

Thank you everyone for your answers so far! :)

Hope you don't mind me chiming in. That's a good list of parts for what you're looking for. Only issue I can see is that you have 8gb in the form of just the one module but the motherboard has dual channel architecture....meaning that if you got 2x4gb modules instead you can get a lot more performance out of the memory.

Other than that, good stuff! I take it you don't need to include the OS in the budget?

Oh yeah, I didn't know that but thanks :) - you are correct about the OS.
Thanks for replying! :D
