Advice on upgrading to I7-6700K from I5-750

It's time for me to make some changes to my PC setup as it's starting to lag a little behind the times. I would like to grab whatever is best, but reasonable and am willing pick things up over time. I'm going to get the new I7-6700k. I'd like to start with just the CPU, Motherboard and Ram upgrade today and will upgrade the card around March. If it doesn't make sense to wait for the card, I can do now.

I have an eyefinity setup 3x1080p and am also connected to a 1080p tv. I will more than likely upgrade the tv to 4k next year(summer) so would like to be prepared from a gaming perspective. Not touching the monitors unless they die. I've had some challenges with xfire on 3 screens so i've just been using one card and would like to stay that way unless things are easier now.

Can you guys make any recommendations for a gaming PC upgrade to the below specs? Fallout 4 is probably the only new game i'll be playing this year but I would like to be able to run the Witcher 3 beautifully. Let me know if I need to provide more info. Thanks as always!!

No budget in particular. I'm not rich but don't want to be limited. I'm just gaming outside of general PC use and don't have any special requirements beyond that. I want to get the best within reason. I don't know if that's a $100 mobo or a $300 mobo. Looking for direction on what I should spend.

I prefer to keep whatever is salvageable. I feel like my video card can hold out a few more months. If I should replace anything else I'm open.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot! I was going to purchase the Maximus VIII but saw so many DOA complaints I never pulled the trigger. Am I crazy to go for 16gb of ram or even 32gb? I will most likely grab this board as it serves my needs. Thanks again.
