I am building my first pc. I already put everything together, just waiting for the GPU rn. My build is a 6600k with Sapphire 390.

Will the 600 be enough and will it last?

Is their a program to monitor PSU performance to ensure it's running correctly?

Sorry to ask so many questions but the guy above said the capacitors are rated for 30 degrees max. Does that mean if my GPU will get hotter than that it will blow?

Do yourself a favor... listen to these guys. They have been there and done it before and they speak from experience.

For me? I just replaced the power supply you are talking about in less than 2 weeks. On top of the less-than-spectacular capacitors used, that is a sleeved bearing fan they positioned horizontally. Mine failed quickly thankfully and I got a refund.

Even if the PSU lasts, if the fan isn't up to the task it will make little difference.

What did I go with? Seasonic 650w (my system pull is calculated at 425w max) SS-650KM, which is a Gold standard and more efficient than what you are looking at:

If the additional $40 is too much, Seasonic has a 620w Bronze class S12II that is the same price as what you are looking at. But, the S12II has a ball-bearing fan, Japanese capacitors, blah-de-blah, blah-de-blah, and a 5-YEAR warranty. It will serve you much better for the same $$.

Well, can I send it back after I have been using it, or should I keep it? It seems to be working... but that is probably how it is until it brakes. Any ideas?

That would be your call. I don't want to define all PSU's with sleeved fans or Taiwan capacitors as terrible. Truth is, there are plenty out there working just fine. But, better components are preferred if possible.

My last PSU was a Cyberpower 750w that is supposed to be the worst thing ever (if all forum opinions actually made a difference). It lasted 7 years and was operational when I donated it to the robotics program at my kids school.
